 POLYMER COMPOUND
 

Crosslinkable PE (XLPE)
 Polyethylene has good physical and mechanical properties, but for special applications these properties must be improved. Crosslinking of polyethylene is a good way to improve mechanical and electrical properties. FLXT® Company produces different grades of this product for a wide range of cable industries and hot water pipes. Specifications of four general grades of theses products are as follow:

 

 

Glass Fiber Reinforced PP
 Glass fiber reinforced polypropylene resin has better mechanical and physical properties than raw polypropylene. This product has variable applications such as automotive parts, industrial housing, injection parts and high temperature resistance usage. Glass fiber reinforced PP can be produced in different colors.

 

 

Glass Fiber Reinforced PA
 Glass fiber reinforced polyamide has better mechanical properties than raw polyamide. This product is used in electrical appliance with high resistancy temperature, industrial housing, high strength automotive parts, high impact strength and high flexural modulus applications.

 

 

Glass Fiber Reinforced PET
 Glass fiber reinforced PET is an engineering plastic with very high strength and resistancy temperature. This product is used in most applications such as automobile, electrical and industrial equipments. Glass fiber reinforced PET has special usage in electrical industry for high resistancy insulation and low water absorption. Main specifications of this grade are heating and chemical resistancy, long aging, high strength, hardness and abrasion resistancy.

 

 

Maleic Grafted Polyolefine
 PP-g-MAH and PE-g-MAH are chemically modified polyolefines. This modification improves considerably bonding to polar polymers, metal and glass. These products used as : 1- A compatibilizer for alloy PP or PE with PA, EVOH and PET. 2- A chemical coupling agent for PP and PE composites with inorganic fillers or glass fiber. 3- An excellent coupling agent for wood-plastic composites. 4- A dispersive modifier for ATH and MDH for halogen free flame retardant compunds. 5- Adhesive for bonding polymer to metal.

 

 

Halogen Free Flame Retardant Compounds (HFFR)
 Flame retardant compounds based on polyolefinic with high flame retardancy are designed to meet UL94 V0 and IEC 60832 flammability criteria. These compunds are halogene free flame retardant, low smoke, without toxic and corrosive gases emission during the burning time. These compounds are ideal for wire and cable sheathing and jacketing and also in injection molding applications.

 

 

Home Appliance Compounds
 FLXT® produces mineral (Talc, Calcium Carbonate), filled PP compounds. These compounds improve heat and creep resistance, dimensional stability and reduce shrinkage on molded part. These compounds are used in home appliances such as washing machine, vacuum cleaner, industrial injection and extrusion parts.

 

 

Thermoplastic elastomers
 Based on blend of plastic and rubber behave like thermoset rubber but are processed via thermoplastic techniques. they highly used in automotive and appliance parts. FLXT produce PP/EPDM alloys in a wide range of hardness that used as bumper or other automotive parts.
